Zombinis is one more of those games which were exclusively launched on Google+ The developers of the game are East Side Games. Zombinis are hybrids between zombies and teddy bears and you are the trainer of a Zombini. In the start of the game itself you have to select a Zombini which will be a Zombini of air, land or water. Your goal in the game is to create an Army of Zombinis to fight of the Kroton army and complete the missions.
The game starts with a Zland National Championship which happens once in a year under the watchful eyes of King Zombast and the entire Z Land army. However, as the event was about to start, the Krotons attack the championship tent and destroy the whole Z Land army along with the King. Now you are the only hope who can make an army of Zombinis and defend the Z Land from the Kroton forces.
In the game you have to fight and collect more Zombinis and gather more experience for the Zombinis as well as for yourself. Your army will continue to grow and as you win one fight after another, new levels and missions will continue to get unocked. In the fight your Zombinis will get hurt and before you can do another fight you will have to repair your Zombini by replacing the damaged or the missing part.
If you have seen the Pokemon series then you will find a lot of similarities in the fights. You have to take one on one fights, you choose one of your Zombinis to fight the Krotons or other Zombinis and you can also change your Zombini in between the fight.
There are basically 3 things in the game- the level, coins, Z-bucks and spare parts. When your Zombinis will get damaged or destroyed in battle you will have to repair then either with Z bucks, spare parts or just have to remove then from the army for certain time in which they will regenerate their parts. The coins are used to buy graveyards which generate parts in for your Zombinis, however, they require some time to generate a part the next time which can be up to 8 minutes.
As mentioned earlier in the start itself you have to choose one Zombinis for yourself. These are creatures of either Air, Land or Sea and each one of them have an advantage over the other. As seen in the image you are shown the advantages one of the Zombinis have got over other. However, it is nothing much to worry about because this advantage is nothing more than a extra dice that the advantages type of Zombini gets over the disadvantaged Zombinis.
As in Pokemon, rare Zombinis seem to have more powers than the common Zombinis and therefore get an extra dice just like the advantaged Zombinis get. Except for this you also get an extra dice when your Zombini is on a higher level than your opponents Zombinis.
There are basically two types of gameplay in Zombinis- Battle and the missions.
While in battles you will mostly be evenly matched with your Zombini; in missions you may not get the fair treatment because the missions are pre-scripted. This way you might end up facing a weaker or stronger opponent. Here the trick is to go for missions only when you have leveled up your Zombini after participating in battles or obtaining rare Zombinis.
There is a Mojo level in the game which is for unocking newer levels which get your more Zombinis. There is a store where you get new items including coffins which contain new Zombinis which come directly under your training. The coffin will contain one Zombini of a specific type (Air, Land or Sea) and after a certain level you can also buy more coffins.
The interface of the game is very interactive and cute. It looks like a cartoon series and has good audio to go along with it. The game is easy to understand and the turn wise fight sequence is fun to play.
