Can Google plus replace Facebook

In this article, I have discussed the tough competition between two web giants, Facebook and Google+ and the trends for Google+ to take over Facebook. What are the features which will attract visitors to Google+ from Facebook and what are those which will keep them away from it.

Use of social media has risen sky high in today's competitive world for building social circles, communication around the world, promoting business and increased online exposure. The trend started from twitter then Orkut then Facebook and now Google plus.
Twitter included micro blogging called tweets ----Orkut included friends, photo and video sharing along with status updates--------Facebook expanded the features along with making the interface even easier-----now Google plus is on its way to blast into the arena of social networking. But question stays that whether it will be able to replace Facebook or not? Because people have just gone mad about Facebook. Whether people would like to switch from Facebook over to Google+ is a big question mark. Here is bit of comparison of possibilities on both sides.
• Yes it can as Facebook replaced Orkut over a period of time.
• Also that it comes from Google, the king of the web, whose team knows the needs of people well and how to attract people towards it. But still it will take years.
On the other hand there are more possibilities that people may not convert to Google plus.
• People may think it just a fuss to start their social circles from scratch.
• They may not bother to change their network for any reason.
• They may not like to lose their valuable photos and videos although Google plus allows to download all data and friends from Facebook.
• Uploading photos is problem due to limitation of size (125x125).
• It has a lesser no of games as compared to Facebook.
